It’s been a little over a month since the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, where Pop music icon Beyonce’ Giselle Knowles announced her pregnancy while on stage. Now, despite being with child, Queen B is back with another dance video for her latest single “Countdown” from her smash hit album “4.” The video is directed by Adria Petty, who also previously worked with the star on her 2009 clip for the song “Sweet Dreams.”

The video begins with Beyonce’ standing in front of a black and white backdrop, blinking her eyes and singing with her hair tied up as she moves her arms in a literal “countdown” to the beat of the song. From there, she proceeds to go through a wide array of colorful locations, dancing around with her other fierce and fashionable friends, exemplifying that while she may have a baby in her tummy, she can still rock it out if need be. She looks beautiful and radiant in several different types of outfits throughout the video, smiling and flaunting her still gorgeous body for the camera that eats up her blinding star power. It is clear that even though our girl is a soon-to-be mommy, she has no intentions of stopping what she loves best: giving her fans a great show.

Long-time fan and supporter Stephen Mascall from New Jersey gushes that while the video may not be up to par with her previous hits like “Single Ladies” and “Run the World,” it still stands tall as another great Beyonce’ hit. He notes that the video and song sort of have a “hipster” vibe, and that it’s all “very spontaneous, but at the same time old school.” And never mind about the pregnancy… Stephen thinks that people are possibly being too “paranoid” about it, and that in reality it is a great thing that she is still producing videos.

Stephen’s dream recently came true when he got the chance to meet Beyonce’ herself at a special Meet and Greet event at Macy’s in New York City, where she was promoting her latest perfume release. It is no question that he has a plethora of love and respect for her. “I think after all the crazy outfits and celebrity stunts, people really do appreciate talent and good music,” he says. “Not only is Beyonce’ excessively talented, but her music speaks to a lot of people, and she constant changes lives across the nation with her timely and classy messages of empowerment.”

“Countdown” seems guaranteed to be yet another huge success for Knowles, and a musical hit for the fall season.
