CHS opinion of "Video of the Year" versus VMA results

Katy Perry had cheese on her head. Lady Gaga became Sir Gaga. Nicki Minaj looked like a microwave. Adele made everybody cry. Britney Spears appeared half conscious. On August 28th, 2011, the MTV VMA’s award ceremony was held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Millions of music fans worldwide voted on who they thought should receive top honors concerning the year’s most talked about music videos. In the end, Katy Perry was crowned queen of the ceremony, winning Video of the Year for “Firework.” The general public either agreed or disagreed with this determination. Now, it’s time to establish whether or not the students of Croatan High School agree with the rest of the music industry; or if they completely differ in their taste for videos. Surveys were distributed throughout the school to see what our student body thinks about the artists on the scene. Did the winners of the VMA’s deserve their Moonmen trophies, or were the results less than correct?
